Cooling system now = has an air-purge line from rear iron to top of expansion tank and a new air= intake diffuser sealed to front face of water radiator. The oil temperatur= e sending unit is now in an adaptor (18mm male to female) between oil coole= r outlet and engine block (no photos yet). Ground running on the weekend af= ter 20 minutes (3000-4000 rpm) showed oil temperature at 180F and water at = 150F ... we elected not to fly due to air temperature of 14F ... this weeke= nd is forecasted to be 0F ... holding out for 28-32F ... hope this deep fre= eze is over soon.
