It's difficult to tell from the pictures, but it looks like the duct sides are just flat panels. If you'll look through the archives of this list, I think you'll discover that flat sides may not be the most efficient planform available for the sides. It looks like the top and bottom may have the shape of a divergent duct, but it is difficult to tell from the pictures. Do you have a show from straight down?
