Greg,
Running a turbo will probably negate the need for a muffler. If you do decide to run a muffler, it will likely last a long time as the turbo will take most of the energy out of the exhaust. Thanks for posting the make/model for your turbo. I'll be interested to learn how well it works.

Has anybody tried the mufflers that are on BurnsStainless site? http://www.burnsstainless.com/DragMuffler/dragmuffler.html, or http://www.burnsstainless.com/UltraliteMuffler/ultralitemuffler.html. With their reputation and warranties, might be worth a look, although they are not cheap. I am going ahead with no muffler on the dyno, where we will take readings with the turbo on. By the way, the turbo is a Garrett 4080.

Thanks Bob. Mine is a Turrentine built engine with NA rotors in turbo housings (no splitters).

Huh. Well it sure doesnt look as elegant as my welded stainless 2 into 1 header, but if it works it might be worth making the change. And would be cheap - I've got one floating around somewhere.
One question. Do you know if Paul ran housings with the splitters or without?

Mike,
Paul used a Turbo engine without the turbo. So there were no splitters. Doing so with splitters probably would help also. Just my opinion tho!
