Intake air temp (IAT) is different from outside air temp (OAT), IAT comes with/needed on EC2 or EC3, separate lines on EM2.  Quick note. Hope helpfull.          David R. Cook, RV6A ROTARY

Greg,

My EC-2 came with an OAT sensor.  I would expect that the EC-3 does too.  Also, the EC-2 doesn't use a TPS.  Recomend you check with Tracy about whether the EC-3 will accept one, or if it even needs it.  Tracy believes in the KISS principle.

Wiring my EC3.  It's asking for an air temp sensor in the manifold.  Anybody know what type of sensor you should use?  Also, has anybody ever wired for throttle position sensor?  The EC3 doesn't have an input for this, and I was wondering if it was necessary, and if anyone else has dealt with it.
