Al, you could do like Tracy did on his original, wrap a string coated with epoxy around the tube.  I hope that idea it still works, as I did mine that way.  JohnD

A guy on a Mustang list had a simple method of adding a bead without a tool.  He just cut off some pipe and used a pipe expander to make it just slip over the existing tube end and then rounded it a bit and soldered / brazed it in place. 

Hum-m-m; beading tool, or pipe expander, – which would I like to have . .   Just kidding; I think I could take a piece of pipe down to the local muffler shop.
