Fogot to mention these EGR holes are only on 86-88 hsgs........

Ernest,
I sealed up the EGR holes in the center housing by runnung a
7/16" NC tap down them (it will make shallow threads) and
installing a length of 7/16" NC" "all thread" with a screwdriver
slot cut in one end.........I used Hi-Temp threadlocker on threads
and filled top end with "JB Weld".........Then smooth what extends
into port to match port contours.........A standard tap is a little too
short so I purshased a longer tap for a few dollars..........FWIW
