Sorry!  my mistake.

 In that case, I use two GM evaporator cores 9x11x 3 1/2" providing approx 200 sq inch frontal area and 690 cubic inches of cooling core volume (does on include side tanks).  I consistently produce 175-180 HP for take off and suffer a cooling deficit if OAT>60F until reaching 120 mph IAS or I pull back on the throttle.  WOT at 8500 MSL will drive coolant/oil temps to 190F whereas cruise (approx 5500 -5600 rpm) gives a coolant and oil temp between 160-170 depending on altitude and OAT.  I swing a 74x88 prop  using a RWS 2.85:1 gear box.

No, actually, I was trying to get a sense of the size of radiator I would need.  Still discussing size, and thickness.

Hey Al!

I believe Greg meant this question to you as my 13B installation with rads under the cowl is not conceptually close to  what Greg is considering

Hey Ed;
How thick (Dimensions) is your radiator, and what size hoses are you running? Thinking of surface mounting the feed and return lines, and the best way to do that.

I meant to attach this photo of the fan installation to the previous post.
