I've got about 80 in flight hours on my Renesis RX-8 coils.  No problems 
so far.  I did burn one up during ground tests when I had a crank angle 
sensor /ECU problem before Tracy figured out the fix.  I was very 
supprised when I bought a new coil from the local Mazda dealer for about 
$35.00!!
