Chris,
Concerning your RPM = problem. My=20 Renesis is doing the same thing.  Plus, at staging, it coughs like = an old=20 smoker trying to cough up a lung and the higher the RPM goes the less = the=20 mixture monitor displays.  At staging it is only on about 5% of the = time.  I have talked with Tracy and he has dispatched the FIX, = at=20 least a partial one.   His other 2 fixes have been dead = on! =20 Should arrive today or tomorrow.  The tentative thinking is that = electrical=20 Noise is causing the mixture and the rpm portions to scramble their = little=20 silicone brains.  No mixture display and it is real hard to lean = the=20 mixture.  Have you tried putting a 1000 ohm resistor across the=20 CAS.   This solved my starting problem.
About your restart=20 problems.  When the engine compartment gets hot,  my fuel = pumps=20 vapor lock for a while.  I can hear mine do=20 it.   Yours may be too far away.  Check the = fuel=20 pressure.  I will work on this after I get it running = well. =20 Already have a remote thermometer so I  can get some temperature = data=20 in the pump compartment and a cooling duct.   =20
