Thanks for that tip,  I haven't = got a 13B pan=20 but I probably could borrow or buy one from someone.  I = saw the=20 pictures someone posted from last years rotary roundup and that explains = one=20 which had 2 rows of holes on the plate.

Greg, while you are having this plate=20 made=85

If you add three 6MM, threaded with inserts, = holes=20 just south of the three holes in the top of the drawing, you or anyone = else,=20 can either install the Renesis OR the stock 13B oil=20 pan.

The original holes are used to bolt the = plate to the=20 engine and the three additional holes will accommodate three of the = 13B oil=20 pan bolts.  If you install the Renesis pan, the three holes for = the 13B=20 are covered up.

I can=92t tell you the dimensions for the = three holes,=20 but you could get them off a 13B oil pan.  This allows 5 quarts = of oil in=20 the sump, plus whatever is in the cooler, engine, etc.  I = haven=92t done it=20 yet, but I expect that it will take 7 quarts to change the oil in my = engine=20 with this setup.

Hi, I started the engine = mount for=20 my RV8 with Renesis engine today. Copying the basic design of the CCI = mount=20 for which I was ripped off, I bought some Al plate 0.5" = thick to fit=20 between sump and engine and made a CAD drawing so the water jet = cutters can=20 finish it off.  I've attached the drawing for anyone = interested.  I=20 haven't had it plotted to full size scale yet so there may be some=20 errors.

With some of the excess = Al I'll=20 make a spacer to fit between the oil pickup and engine so the pickup = is=20 lowered by the same amount as the plate. The oil pickup uses an O = ring=20 for a seal so I'll get the spacer machined to take an O ring as = well. =20 The drawing shows 2 spacers I thought I may as well have a spare since = it's=20 just scrap material.
