Hi Bob;

Q: HP difference?
A: Probably 3-5% approaching the torque peak. I have seen similar numbers for piston engines elsewhere.
See the bible, 81 edition (near the bottom of the web page), p.49.

Personally, I would keep your rotors - everything is already factory balanced.  The extra HP is a just a throttle blip higher if you want it.
If you really need the HP you could go Pport and/or put a turbo back on.

The S5 rotor faces are machined, the S4 have a rough cast appearance.
You could also measure the depth of the combustion area.  These were measured across the combustion recess face.  These are NA rotors.

Used S5 NA rotors are in demand - probably $100 a piece on ebay in questionable used condition.  Might take a while to get a matched set of three unless you go to a shop.  If you go this route, make sure they are weighed with a gram accuracy scale.  All within 25g, preferably less.
You might also look into RX8 rotors as an alternative.
If you decide to get rid of your 20B rotors - I call dibs :)

Cheers
Cary
