I am watching all of this with great interest, as I am
picking up my 20B in LA next Friday. The guy selling it to me runs a shop
in Hawthorne, CA, and has been selling JDM engines of all types for about 15
years, and works with some well-known rotary racers down there. While I am
still debating between turbo and NA, he is giving me the entire engine with all
accessories, including radiator out of a cosmo, the original intercooler, and
oil cooler, motor mounts, coils and injectors, air conditioning parts, and a ton
of other stuff. This guy is a great source of knowledge re: the rotary,
and it's development through the years. If anybody is interested, I'll
forward his information to you.

Bob; Did you mean "no prob. (as in no problem) or NO PROP" please
do not run without prop, I know of two folks who did & both over-rev. lost
eng., one aircraft no prop, one car eng. without flywheel. Happened so fast
could do nothing about it. I think that is when Forest Gump came up with the
phrase "SHIT HAPPENS", you have put so much quality work into this project (I
have seen your photos) would hate to see another man cry. Remember that the
eng. start IS NOT THE GOAL, flying aircraft IS. Sorry for the rant but I saw
many photos of the Glasstar that came apart. David Cook RV-6A Rotary

Hot Damn!!!! I'm just beside myself!!!!!! Thought I would just
see if it would fire off. No prop. Didn't expect it to actually run. Ready
to shut it off......Fired up and idled...ran it for about 30 min. Have a 5
min video...stop after I kill it....nothing but BS after that....just dont
know how to stop the video. Died after I switche dto computer B....tried the
coil test and injector test on B and nothing. Will have to investigate that.
But DAMN!!! It sounds great! course it aint at 6000 rpm yet either. No
leaks, starts right up. I bet I cant sleep tonight!
