This was custom built for me and I took delivery in October of 2005. This is a brand new engine converted for aviation use. It was mildly ported and polished on the intake side, the rotors were ceramic coated. The block was powder coated in black and yellow. It comes with the proper flex plate for the RWS RD-1C re-drive. I originally had planned to put this in my Cozy MKIV project, but have since sold that and am now building an RV-10. I plan to use the Lycoming IO-540 for the extra hp needed for this heavier plane. This engine has been pickled and stored in my climate controlled shop since delivery with the ports taped over. I re-fog and hand turn it over every couple months to keep the inside protected. I have an oil pan from a T.T. 13b Cosmo I will throw in if the buyer wants it. It has a deeper pan but needs to be modified to fit the Renesis block. I will also thro w in the Bruce Turrentine 13b rebuild video. I paid $6450 for this with shipping. I would like $5500. Save money and a 6 month wait. You can pick this up in person or you/I can arrange shipping at cost. I still have the original wood shipping crate so it would not be any trouble for me to re-crate it and drop it off at a shipping terminal. Pictures are attached below. E-mail me direct @ davidclifford01@comcast.net or call me @ 248-245-3691.
