After a year and a half of deployment and assorted upgrades, my RV-6 finally got back in the skys.  And she did great.
The news and that cowling just forces a smile on a Monday morning.  Congratulations, and I'm happy to hear you made it back.

Congratulations to Mark also.  It's encouraging to hear reports that don't start with cooling issues, and even the noise issues are slowly disappearing.

I met Steve down at Harnett County Airport (HRJ) a week or so ago to have a look at his Cozy.  He's looking to get just a little more cooling out of his system.  I think he just needs to clean up some cruft left over from other modifications he's done, but I was extremely impressed with how quiet the plane was even when he revved it up.  Mark commented that he though it was quieter than they typical Lycoming, Steve.

I finished my panel this weekend, and after a few more punch-list items I should be moving to the engine installation full-time.  I'm trying hard to keep myself from getting excited and rushing through the final steps of the process.
