Can't = recall your ignition set up - but, if not using the stock Mazda coils = then of course you couldn't use that tach output. However, when you = test the leading coil (by disabling the trailing coil) my tachometer = does go to zero for as long as you hold the disable switch engaged. Not certain this helps you any.
