I didn't get to see much at S 'n F; too busy yaking about the rotary (Lots
of interest and still growing!). I had to send Laura off to shop for my
RV-8 seats (She decided on the Oregon Aero).
Bernie left off Max Leshire (great guy from Austria) who flew in from
New York with his 13B powered Falconair F12A, a really beautiful all wood
plane. Max is one of the many rotary builders who doesn't do the
internet group thing so we never hear from or about them. He has over 500
hours on his installation at last report. He has an early RD1-
redrive and an EC2 controller.

What went on at SnF?
Well the regulars, Tracy, Ed, and Bill Eslick flew rotary RV's there, Rich
Nadig flew his RV3 in and I have already commented what a great job Rusty did
on the rotary installation.
Laura was keeping everything in order in the rotary forums :>)
Art was there with his neat package of his prototype FWF package. He ran it
every day about 2 pm at the alternate engine tent area.
Lamar was there to keep us all straight.
Ed Keplis was there with his neat radiators , etc
Lots of interest in rotary's.
Guess the suburu egg is on their 3rd iteration of gearbox design.
My big thing is that I sold my soaring trike, my rotary engine parts to
Dean Van Winkle, Bob Perkingson, and Tracy Hallock. Will finish the 9A
lycoming installation and sell it and wait on the 12 kit. FAA guys suggested
it would probably be better to not file for medical this year and fly LSA.
Not responsible for spelling and false
rumors,
