Subject: Re: Slide Throttle
Apparently the other emails are not working; use
this one please.
I am attaching the flyer we distributed at SNF.
We are taking $100 deposits (refundable) for the first production run.
The introductory price is $318.75, a 25% reduction from $425. Anodizing is a
$50 optional extra. The offer expires May first. Deposits are refundable until
we get a firm date for the production run, at which time we will notify you so
you will have a chance to change your mind. Current plans are for a production
run in June for delivery in July.
The production model throttles will have a
reduced weight because we are going with thinner cover plates and flanges. And
rounding one end to cut off unneeded material. Maybe some other minor changes.
We will be assembling a p-ported engine in the near future. Unfortunately
our machinist is going on vacation so there will be some delay. Maybe you will
get there first.
Paul thinks we should provide some "slop" in the
fasteners holding the flanges going to the engine. I would be interested in
your opinion of whether or not this is really needed.
