I just put mine on the scale, it is also the 2.5" 409SS and weighs in at 8lb 10oz. There is another pound in mounting hardware and a 304SS exhaust tip.
I am doing it as much to make my plane "participant" friendly as anything. I am also installing firewall and floor soundproofing as well as the rest of the side paneling. I also have to turbo to mute my sound some, it was adequate for me but just not enough for the wife.

Ed, I just put mine on the kitchen scales, it is a 2 1/2" and it weighed 9 lbs. It is the 409 SS like Tracy has. The swivel ball weighed 8 ozs. Good thing I only weigh 135. JohnD

Hi Dave,
Any idea what they weigh? Could find specs about everything but that - guess it doesn't matter on a earth bound vehicle.
