Lynn,

I have also flown with internal home-made muffler, spintech and flowmaster.
The internal can type was quietest at the expense of some power.  The
spintech and flowmaster both gave me the same speed, with the flowmaster
winning because it "looks" faster.  I believe the spintech was just a bit
quieter.
