I heard that in the Ruhr valley that they were forcing alternate day use the smog was so bad. (even plates on even days, odd plates, odd days) I don't know about current levels. The Audis were first to use the Siemens system, they are a bit more adventurous than Merc. I believe D-B is developing their own system in cooperation with Bosch. The Siemens injectors are piezo driven and have a phenomonal response time. They also can run with lower lubricity gasoline. I believe several Japanese cars also use the system under license. The thing is you need the injectors, the pump, (a new lightweight pump BTW), the plumbing and a control signal. I think Tracys unit will be able to drive these injectors!
