Hi Al,

Just in case, no one responds with an affirmative to your question, wanted to let you know that while I did have two batteries at one time, never had any diodes separating them from each other (just a CB) or the EC2 (again just a CB).

While we are all watching with interest for the outcome of the IPW tweaking; I’m still searching for reasons for spontaneous corruption of tuning settings in my EC2.

Does anyone else have two separate power leads (as from two different batteries) to the EC2, isolated by diodes before the plug at the box?

Does anyone else have injector and coil power feed from a bus that is connected to two batteries with Schottky diodes for battery isolation?
