It's amazing how many lists are out there that deal with 90% mud and only 10% List business!
I consider myself lucky to be on one that actually does not need any moderating!!
One other list is the BD-4 list....
A third I am on is PPRUNE.org
Professional Pilot Rumour network
There is something for everyone, but it does need moderation or it sinks right away - though with mod it is an incredible fountain of experience and professional wisdom...
I didn't know that you are the "source of all evil" :))
May I ask what was your sin? Plugs-up too, no .....you wouldn't dare! Would you?
Thomas :))

Hi Thomas, Actually, in all the years since I started FlyRotary (as an early excommunicate of "that other list", to answer your question), there has been one instance where I found it necessary to terminate someone's subscription. It didn't happen without his knowledge, however, as I gave him a chance to put things right. Rather than stepping up to the plate, admitting he was wrong and putting the situtaiton behind us, the offender's reply to me was a 3-word suggestion that I perform a biological impossibility upon myself. He's no longer a member of the group. If you're curious about the infraction, it was pretty simple... there was a difference of opinion and rather than discuss the matter reasonably this person sunk to personal insults and foul language directed at another FlyRotary subscriber. All I asked for was an aopolgy to the person who was the target of his invectives. He couldn't do that. Since his removal we have never suffered a similar incident, so I think it was the right thing to do and I'd do it again if faced with a similar situation.
