Back in about 1982-83 several of my A-7D Avionics troops were buying cheap "Pinapple" mother boards to make Apple clone PCs. The boards were "cheap" in that the parallel solder traces sometimes had solder bridging between traces. . . . Theie solution was to use dental picks to scrape the unwanted solder out from between the traces - simple, no-heat, no solder wick way of accomplishing a bit of clean-up work.
