got about 4200 RPM, but the HP at one time was at 257!!!  :>)  Without the cowling on, the prop blast is directly into the throttle body and at one time I also saw 31.5 inches of manifold pressure!!

Did you note the mixture monitor bar when you were at max static?  A turn of
the mixture knob may get you some more RPM.

31.5" may be possible if you were at sea level on a cold day.  I found that
I had to recalibrate the manifold pressure with a gauge to get the correct
reading.  You pretty much need to check calibrations on all temp and
pressure readout to assure accuracy - I least that was my experience.
