That's the road I've gone down and my empty weight is about 100# less than the 540 bunch. Adding a turbo would bring it closer to the 540's weight. With two batteries in the back, which is the norm, my CG came in right on the money. As for the engine, I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about this particular engine. Before I commit to purchasing and shipping it cross country to California I thought I'd check with the members of the list to see if anyone knows anything about this engine, or about the gentleman who is selling it. All our interactions have been via email and Mr. Lally has been very helpful, so I want to make sure that nobody thinks I have any reason to doubt him, I'm just trying to do my homework and be an informed buyer. =20 I can provide a photo and details on what I'm supposed to receive to anyone who is interested in providing an opinion, but as a newcomer I didn't know if it was "proper" to post all that info to the list.
