VERY nice looking engine installation Buly!  Now if you can make the alarm light stop blinking ;-)

Are you going to test the PP engine on a stand first?  I still think the PP option can't be as easy and successful as people think.  If it was, I don't know why we don't see them flying.  Has anyone other than PowerSport flown a PP engine?

Cheers,

Thanks Rusty. I don't know of any PP port flyers yet, but when I started gathering my current engine 7-8 years ago, I was hearing the same thing about the rotary in general. Can't be as bad as the turbo rotary :). My hangar mate races rotaries. Once he drove a PP race car, and he said that once it hit 6000 RPm it came alive and it was a monster. PL just tested one that he put together on the MazdaTrix dyno and hit 240HP at 6,500 rpm without much tuning and carburators. 6,500 is my takeoff RPM now, and my engine NA is making about 160-170 HP I think?
