I turn on the cold start switch, put the mixture at 3 O'clock, hit the primer button about 4-6 times and open the throttle to 1/2. When it starts sputtering I switch off the cold start and pull the throttle back at the same time. Sometimes it runs for about 20-30 seconds and dies and I repeat the process. If the battery is too low by then I put on a charger for an extra 20 amps. If I have to shut it down to remove the charger, I let it warm up for 5 minutes or so. I'm looking forward to seeing other techniques. This one needs improvement. I'll try Larry's technique of pulling 6 blades. My cold oil pressure reads 99 which I assume is the limit on the 100 psi sensor and I don't think I've ever seen it below 70. In flight at 5900 rpm it reads 86 psi. I haven't calibrated the gauge. I'm using the default EM2 settings.
