I found one (short body) at Chief Aircraft that is for up to 400F. It doesn't get below 500 ohms until 140 F, and I am using it for temperature input to the Blue Mountain unit. I will get more particulars on it tomorrow. I believe it was with the Mitchell guages, and it is a VDO sensor when it came.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Short Temp Senders

Hello All...

I ordered the following fitting with a 1/8" port for
senders.
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=RUS%2D670340&FROM=MG

I have the EC2 which came with the VDO 323 057 1/8-27
300F sender.  The sensing portion of the sender is
1/2" long.  Which on the -8 hose pretty much closes
off the entire hose.

The threads on the fitting are approximately 1/4"
deep.

Thus, does anyone know of a shorter temp sender which
will not close off the hose?  The ideal length would
place the sensing portion of the probe only 1/8" or so
into the hose.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanx...

-Scott
