Long time, no jibe.
I don't need to take the pump apart to use it as an idler. I can just disconnect the clutch wires.
However, until I get electronic replacements for my vacuum powered horizon and giro, I need it to suck.
Thanks for the links.
John

Is it possible to take the pump apart?  If so, could you just gut the one you have, and let it be your idler pulley?

Check the classified/parts/3rd gen section of the RX7club forum.

You get the idea.  This is a junk part for most RX-7 folks, so $20 seems to be about right.

Cheers,
Rusty (safe and sound at the airport)
