Hi Ernest,
My thinking is that the can will expand differently than the block
creating some stress on the weld joint to the can. In that case,
longer would be better. The problem is way too complex for me to
calculate anything, so I'm just going to see what I get. Finn may be
correct but I'm hoping for the best. I will be putting my 40 hours of
flying time not far from an airport with a lot of wide open space
around it.
