Too late Tracy.
I was already taken advantage of by the official Garmin upgrade
policy. In other words, I sold my 396 unused on Ebay, and bought a
new one at the full Garmin mandated price. I was lucky
though, I sold mine early for a very good price, before the market could become
saturated with slightly used
396's.
BTW, it just arrived, and I
couldn't resist "flying" it around the pool for a couple minutes. Gotta go
work on a scanner now, so no more time to play.
