I use parallel 5/8" (ID) hoses to the two rads then 3/4" from rad outlets back to the 'Y' adapter to the water pump inlet.  I have never seen any indication that it is limiting the cooling.  Airflow through the rads has been the biggest factor.

What is the recommended hose size when using two radiators? The Renesis uses a 1.25" in / out of the engine. Should parallel radiators use 3/4"?
