You are correct sir.  It was in May and, from what I understand a success with over 800 planes showing up. So, since it is not 'til May, y'all all have plenty of time to plan on coming down.  Give me a call/email if you have questions about the area, I will be happy to help.

My EAA Chapter (Chapter 12) worked the event.  Jana and I had a good time and made a three day weekend out of it. The Texas Hill Country is a great destination and I look forward to attending again next year.....maybe even fly in my Velocity the year after that.

All the the best,

Chris

When is SWRFI scheduled for? Didn’t they just have the first one there this year?

BTW, near Fredericksburg is a neat NEW wwII style hotel ON the field. It is at Gillespie, T82. Neat place for a fly in. http://www.hangarhotel.com/

Just a word of encouragement....would love to see you and others at SWRFI.  I have a number of folks who are interested in the engine choice, but they would really like to see flying craft. Its new venue in New Braunfel, TX (between Austin and San Antonio) was a great choice.  Really great destination.
