I'd say, don't restrict the exhaust flow, if anything relieve some of the
compressed air.
Have you enlarged and ported the waste gate, or is it stock?
You can also add a standalone waste gate, but you would have to machine a
somthing for inbetween you exhaust header and the turbo. here is a link to

$240 or $430 plus some ducting from that to outside the cowl.
on the other issue - how about, move into the the hangar? or borrow an RV or
camper...

Do I try to work on it at the hanger, or do I just pull the wings off, and
take it back home. This makes more sense, and wouldn't be that hard to do.
It's just painful to think about.
