He feels that the engine (9.7 rotors) will be fully protected with a 6psi popoff valve and the stock wastegate. He seems to think that manual wastegate control is unnecessary. He once drove an RX7 up a 12,000ft mountain in Peru. As they neared the top he felt the boost drop off. It came back as they came back down the other side. For what it's worth.
