I would not trust the blue stuff for suction unless it is a very short run
or has a spring installed in it.

think I agree. I guess I'll run the blue stuff on everything except the
one high pressure oil hose, and the one suction hose to the oil pump. Both
will be standard high pressure braided hose, and I'll install a spring in
the suction hose to be sure.
