George,

I just look through my photos and really do not have any good ones without
the redrive mounted.  Yaw Power has some good pictures of the Renesis.

Tracy or anyone,
I'm just getting blasted by some Yank that is not happy with the engines he
got from Rupert here locally. I went and inspected the engines for this chap
to see that they looked OK and nothing was missing, as a favour.
Now he's not happy that their not auto's and he doesn't know how to change
them over. He also complained that the Renesis engine had 13B housings and
he was getting ripped-off, I tried to explain that the Renesis was a 13B.

BTW this chap is a Mechanical Engineer and worked for many Aviation related
companies. He is also doing his own PSRU and is now complaining there is a
difference between the Renesis manual and the Auto gearbox bolt pattern and
the manual pattern makes this harder for him.
The only thing I can think of is that one of them has the Cosmo ( extra top
mount position) bolt pattern or that the starter mounting holes are
different.
The engines are on the other side of town, so I can't see them directly.
Any suggestions on what ( if anything) is different, I would like to respond
to this chap as he's a real pain.

Paul a photo of the Renesis from the flywheel side would help, if you would
be so kind.

Got back today from Charlie & Tupper's Fly-in at Outer Slobovia.  Always a
treat.  Had big head-winds on way up but got paid back with an equally
strong tailwind on the way back.  The psychological effect of seeing 200+
cruise speeds is a kick!  First time using the oxygen system and it really
makes high altitude cruising a lot nicer.   Stayed at 16,500 most of the
time and felt great on arrival rather than the need for a nap like I usually
feel.

The Renesis continues to get better all the time as it breaks in and I get
the engine controller fine tuned to it.  Only glitch was the sluggish engine
start after the engine cold soaked over night.  Need to switch from 15W - 50
to 10W - 30 for the winter.  Or maybe its that weenie motorcycle battery I
use?  Anyway, another pleasurable 6 rotary powered hours added to the Hobbs.

Tracy
