Now, as for adding more injectors with the MicroTech, will this still work? I know you can set it up for staged injectors, but can you (easily, in flight, during an emergency) tell it to disable a pair and make it up with the others? Maybe you can. I don't know. I've always heard that the MicroTech was a nice unit, but it's a car ECU, and I'm guessing it isn't designed with backup features built in. =20 =20 I haven't seen anything that would allow you to select which injectors to run on. As you say it does support "staged" injectors so the 2nd pair kick in at higher RPM - but no fail over capability. I 'spose if I was real quick I could reprogram the staged pair to kick in at a lower RPM - but in an emergency I think I'll opt for "fly-the-plane" versus programming :-). If I were going to set it up with 4 injectors I'd probably let the MicroTech think there were still only 2 and split the injector wires. That way if one failed I'd at least be getting something out of the rotor. =20 Thanx, Joe Hull Redmond (Seattle), Washington Cozy MkIV #991 (working on Engine & Electrical & Finishing) http://www.maddyhome.com/canardpages/pages/JoeHull/index.html =20 =20 =20 =20 =20 =20 =20 =20 ------_=_NextPart_001_01C5D8D8.1F9CF8E6 Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Message
