Is anyone actually flying these days? ======================================================= Yes Rusty , I actually flew today. Our runway has been soggyville, we had 7 inches last week and never saw the sun basically. Very unusual for us to stay clouded over, typically we get deluge's but sun in between. runway is still not super, but usuable with caution. Engine did very well, coolant never exceded 218 and started decreasing at about 3500 feet during WOT climb. Practiced some descents with different rpm trying to get this thing (9A) to stop flying when I'm trying to land. Actually have two deadstick landings, but not the beer drinking club kind :>) Couple flights back, after reinstalling the engine after having it to Bruces for new sideseals, it was idling so high that it was not going to stop so just shut it down when over the fence. Set it so low that next flight it stopped when I pulled it all the way to stop again over the fence. I do not count this with your and Ed's deadsticks thank you.Today it seemed find, set it statically about 1350 rpm. Ed do you remember where you idled this prop? ( by the way haven't forgotten that it is your prop, we'll talk at Tracy's.) Rusty sorry to hear you probably not making shady bend! Is your old 3 coming and is he flying a lot? Bernie, out of town for a week. ----__JNP_000_5564.1210.4969 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Message
