Is there
any problem with putting the corner pieces in last (toward the rear of the
engine)?
First,
I don't think it matters in a non ported engine. If you put it (the corner
piece) in first there is no way it can pop out and get dropped into the housing
or lost. The chances of getting the spring under it, and then pushing in the
long piece is zero.
Super Glue the corner piece onto the long piece. Install the spring and
seal at the same time,
with the corner piece end going in first.
Nothing gets lost. Nothing pops out of place.
The Super Glue fails the instant the engine starts.
All is well.
