Can anyone verify these dimensions?  Rusty?

Good timing Dave.  I= looked at the hanger for the S4 counterweight the other day, and couldn't = find it.  Next, I looked in the junk parts box in the attic, nope.&nbs= p; Finally, while I was messing with the single rotor today, I&nb= sp;noticed a pile of parts that I had out when I was building the single.&n= bsp; Sure enough, it was in that pile.

So, attached are a couple= pics.  My measurements are just a bit different from yours, but = you're correct on which one is which.  I annotated the measuremen= ts and weights on the first pic.  The S4 also has an odd milled a= rea near the hub, which is visible on the second pic.  I'm thinking th= ese may be cast, then either drilled or milled as needed to have the correc= t stock balance for that series counterweight.  Just a guess= though.

My other dilemma is my rear counterweight - I don't know which one I h= ave.  Assuming Mazda used a similar method to change the weight on the= rear end there may be a measurable difference there as well.

Mine measures 0.550.  I am hoping it is for a series 5 rotor.&nbs= p; Anyone have one around that they can measure?

You're one your own there= , because I don't have one anywhere.  It would sure be nice to be able= to document the difference though.

Do you have your engine o= ff, and torn down?  I'm dying to know what you find.  <= /font>
