RE: [FlyRotary] LED on EC2 and Power from injectors
Nope.. I just came from the airport and mine absolutely, definitely does not have an LED on the program button. I just checked and I bought mine last Sept, so just under a year ago. Mmmnnn.. I wonder if I've got a newer or an older unit? I had assumed I had a new unit, but I should open it up and check the serial # and ask Tracy. I just want to make sure that I've got the latest software as I understand that it will be required in order to interface with the EM2.

Todd,
The program button ( the one you push to store your new setting) has a red light/led in its push end.  Sort of hard to see in direct daylight and a bit on the dim side, but unless your's is burned out it has one.  I have had my EC2 for a bit over a year so we probably have the same model.

What the heck are you guy's talking about? Mine doesn't have an LED on the program select or anywhere else for that matter. I've only had it for a little over a year, is this a feature on newer or older models? Anybody else not have one?

When I power up my EC2 the program select button glows red.  I am hoping that this is normal - although green would have been a more re-assuring color.  The interesting thing is that when I supply power to the main buss (but not the EC2) the LED also glows red.  Is this normal?  The juice is getting to the EC2 via the injectors (which are powered by the main buss).  If I unplug the injectors the LED goes out.  Seems strange, but I'm hoping everything is OK and hope I don't have to start re-wiring.
