Wendell, I found the HTS-2000 the only aluminum brazing rod that I was ever able to successfully use.  I have brazed thin wall aluminum tubing to heavy manifold castings with excellence results.  I attempted to use aluminum brazing rods in the past without much success - but the HTS-2000 were different and worked well.

I have been lurking off list for the past few weeks due to being away so much.  Ran across the brazing subject and was wondering if you were using HTS-2000 brazing rod?  I want to try my hand at brazing aluminum, so could someone give advice on this, and no I don't want to tig weld (no equipment and don't want to take it to a welding shop).

Thanks in advance,
Wendell
