The only problem that I could foresee with the system is that when it is set off, the dry chemical flowing down the tubing starts to loose velocity, as it passes the first holes causing it to pack the holes towards the end of the line. Bob Perkinson Hendersonville, TN. RV9A N658RP Reserved If nothing changes Nothing changes Do you mean in my plane??? Don't you think a Dyke Delta would be a much better test bed? I should try some sort of test however I'm not sure how valuable it would be unless I can duplicate my engine/cowl/airflow etc, which is not likely and I'm certainly not going to do the test on my plane. I'll take my system over no system any day of the week, however it should not need to be said that flying the damn plane is still the first priority and firefighting duties are secondary. Of course with the loooong backlog of work I have to do, I don't know when I'll ever have time to fly again so I don't need to worry about it :-( Todd Bartrim C-FSTB "The world will always have a place for those that bring hard work and determination to the things that they do" Todd, why not take a piece of aluminum tube, crimp the end to seal it. Run another piece down beside it like in your system with holes every few inches. Fill the first tube with diesel (burns a little calmer), crack it and set it on fire. See if the system will put the fire out. Even worse than having no system is having one that you think will work, but only wastes valuable time when you really need it. -- ,|"|"|, | ----===<{{(oQo)}}>===---- Dyke Delta | o| d |o www.ernest.isa-geek.org | --
