Todd; I'm not saying nor do I know anything detrimental about your type of pump, but take a look at meziere.com on the net. I bought one of these for my rotary and was impressed with the quality. there is not a piece of plastic visable. it's all polished and anodized aluminum they even wax it before shipping. I have the bulkhead mount remote. They have one that pumps 35gal per min and one pumps 55 gal per min. The thing is heavy but still weighs 3 lbs less than the stock water pump.
