I have not made the cowl yet - and am concerned about getting the cooling inlets sized right. The positioning of the radiators, the "wedge" duct and the engine mount design were all inspired by the work of the "gentleman of the other list" and I thank him for the help. I was concerned whether air would flow through the radiators without an exit duct below. Lamar has held that the radiators should be located far enough out from the prop hub to be in an area of good airflow. Apparently that is good advice. I intend to make the air intake shaped similar to that on a P-51 or a C-130 nacelle. I'll expand the duct to the greatest extent possible, using the ratio Ed Anderson has written about .
