I believe you sign away the confidentiality rights when you get your
student certificate. It is just new that they haven't use the right to search
before. And it is scary, even if you don't have anything to hide. Franklin said,
"Those who give up a portion of their freedom hoping for security will have
neither." And John Gault is the man who stopped the motor of the world.
