Thanks Hans. However, on rare occasion we will start the anesthesia before the surgeon is around to get things rolling for the day. The problem is that every now and then a surgeon may have some unannounced significant delay causing the surgery to be canceled.... hence, unnecessary anesthesia. But I like your quote anyway.
