Buly, got your EC2 & EM2 this morning.  Wish I had good news but I found no sign of trouble with the EC2.  Both A & B controllers functioned normally.  It communicated OK with the test bench EM2.

When I tested your EM2 with your EC2 they also communicated OK.  I did find a couple of problems in my quick look at the EM2.  EGT 1 and CHT 4 are not functioning.  This may indicate that the input buffer for these channels are blown.   These are on two different ICs so it is very unlikely that two failed at the same time.  You might want to check the wiring on these two pins.  See your instructions for the connector & pin numbers.  It's possible that these two inputs were blown by ESD (electrostatic discharge) while wiring things up.  Always wire everything on the connector prior to plugging it in the EM2.   I'll look at it further to determine why these functions are not working.   BTW, I see that the HOBBS is at 14.5 hours so you must have at least some run time on the engine.  Did both of the rotor EGT readings work during this time?  Or were you using 2 EGTs?

Bottom line is that there is nothing that would have prevented the engine from running.

I know you have checked the wiring in the past but take a fresh look at it, especially the connections mentioned above.   Another possible problem area on composite planes is the grounding scheme.  This has caused more trouble shooting nightmares for me than I care to recall so look at that too.  There is no quick way for me to describe how it ought to be.  There are simply too many ways to do it wrong.

Hi Tracy, thank you for the quick response. I know I left the plane twice overnight with the master on.
Another thing is I don’t have EGT or CHT connected.?
Anyway, John’s system works fine and when my  package comes back I will connect it into his plane. This way I’ll know: if it works fine, my wiring will be a suspect. Please let me know how much I owe you for the shipping and your time.
Thanks again.
Buly
