There are 3 planetaries in the Ford gear box Front 2.85/3.85; rear 21.7/3.17 and the Overdrive - that looks like the overdrive to me, as I have both the front and rear and that one looks smaller. Hence the disappointment I guess!! Perhaps asking for some advise first may have saved you a few dollars.
